Paul Martin, President

Paul left his position as President and Chief Operating Officer of the publicly traded company SAMSys Technologies Inc. to join Global Access Communications Inc. in June 1998 as President and Chief Operating Officer. Paul became CEO of Global Access Communications Inc. in December of 2000. As CEO, Paul was responsible for the overall strategic development of Global.

Prior to joining SamSys in 1996, Paul practised law with the Halifax, Nova Scotia firm Cox Downie, where he practised corporate and commercial law and became a partner in 1987.

Paul has been a director of a number of Canadian and American companies involved in a variety of industries including a two-year term as Vice-Chairman of Aloha Kai Vacation Resorts Inc., Sarasota, FL.

Most recently Paul acted as the Interim President of HotButton Solutions Inc, Calgary.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a combined Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws Degrees from Dalhousie University, Halifax.
