At Melford, we are fortunate to be building on a green site instead of trying to retrofit existing terminals. Working with terminal design experts and our intermodal partners, we are exploring technologies and layouts that will set new standards for operating efficiencies and delivery times.

Greenfield Site

Designing and constructing a marine terminal on a greenfield site offers opportunities to develop and use state-of-the-art systems and practices. Melford Terminal will make full-use of these opportunities to create operating efficiencies for greater throughput and lower operating costs. Its advanced marine terminal design will be unlike any currently in use in North America.
